The Lesotho Mafeteng 70MW Solar PV Power Plant, which was constructed by SINOMA-EC, a subsidiary of CNBM Group, has brightened a new clean energy future for the highland regions of southern Africa.

As Lesotho's first large-scale pv power plant, the project has generated over 100 million kWh of electricity since connecting to the grid in April 2023. The construction of the project has also created more than a thousand local jobs, cultivated professional talent, and boosted local economic development.
